Do you need your employees to move easily across the Canada-U.S. border? Do you want to understand Canadian and U.S. immigration laws and work permits? Do you require foreign workers to fill gaps in your current workforce?

Winnipeg-based lawyers Jessica Jensen and Reis Pagtakhan are hosting a dual Canadian and U.S. immigration event. Sessions are tailored for HR professionals, leaders of multinational corporations and exporters requiring staff deployment across borders.

Jessica Jensen practises U.S. and Canadian immigration law and maintains law licences in both countries. Jessica is a an Elected Director for the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) Board of Governors as well as the incoming Vice Chair of the Manitoba Bar Association (MBA) Immigration Law Section Executive. Jessica holds various liaison positions, regularly discussing issues and updates with Border Agents and immigration agency representatives.

Reis Pagtakhan is a corporate immigration lawyer with more than 28 years of experience advising businesses and individuals on Canadian and U.S. immigration matters. His immigration practice is particularly focused on obtaining temporary entry and permanent residency for senior executives, managers, professionals and other company employees from around the world. Reis is a member of the Premier of Manitoba’s Business and Jobs Council and is the Chair of that Council’s Immigration and Skills Alignment Sub-Committee.
